If you haven’t heard about the recent cat fight between RNC chairman, Michael Steele and right-winger windbag, Rush Limbaugh, regarding Steele’s, (truthful) remarks about Limbaugh and Steele’s apologetic about face, then get your popcorn out.

The GOP eats it’s own as the Democrats capitalize on casting Limbaugh as the real leader of the Grand Old Party. The DCCC has even launched the I’m Sorry, Rush web page, highlighting several Republicans who have recently criticized Rush, then apologized for their remarks. Ouch! Republican moderates may be next on the endangered species list.

Either Steele will have to prove his mettle as a moderate and reform the GOP or follow GOP leadership lockstep. Regardless, the GOP will continue to cannabilize itself for the foreseeable future. The Democrats score again and are actually winning at the political game for a change. Like I said, get your popcorn because the GOP is providing free entertainment.
