You call yourself ‘democratic’ yet you take the ‘privilege’ to alter other’s posts on your blogs? Bigoted shit – why not learn that your narrow minded views are just that – narrow minded!
[Yes, Steve, it's my blog and if you weren't being an ass, I wouldn't need to edit your rants.]

Steve, your comments are going into moderation. You cannot use my blog to continue your “race” war. Stop with the rants and let’s have a discussion. I can tell your angry, but you are missing the real issues. This is not, nor has it ever been an issue of race. I celebrate Obama’s biracial heritage. I am proud today that the United States has said emphatically that we are not a racist nation (not that racism, sexism, agism, etc. don’t exist because they do).
The problem is that Obama (with the DNC and the media’s help) didn’t need to cheat to win the primary. He didn’t need to lie to win, but he did. For me, the ends do not justify the means. This has nothing to do with the color of his skin, but everything to do with the content of his character. I find him lacking. That is not racism and criticism of Obama is not racist.

You invite comments, yet if you do not agree with them you moderate them to suit your choosing? How democratict is that? And, it is not being an “ass” or a “rant” it is just an honest opinion that you fail to allow to be voiced on your blog.

Steve, take a deep breath. Your “honest opinions” are welcome here, but your insults are not.

My Race War? Get real; not my race war but rather the views on your blog – how obvious are they. Yet you wish to hide behind a ‘reality’ that blames it on others…
And of course Obama is a ‘cheat’ – justifies your means, doesn’t it? LOL, you think anyone would agree with you after Bush??? Your site is so one-eyed it is laughable… but, time will tell, no doubt…

I am so depressed – Californians just voted to put bigotry into the state constitution (ban marriage equality.) Feinstein and Shwarzenegger both spoke in ads against Prop 8. Of course, Obama’s face was used in ads both for and against Prop 8.
I cannot freakin believe this. I thought it would be defeated.

Steve,
Bush, his administration, and many Republicans certainly are liars and cheats. They absolutely deserved to lose this election and some should go to jail. The problem is that the Democratic Party leadership attacked one of it’s own candidates, played dirty with their own base, and followed an AxelRovian path to win. I cannot get on board with that. The ends do not justify the means (for me). Also, challenging and questioning Obama’s inexperience, lack of qualifications, background, and flip flops on stated positions does not make me a racist.
I really could take you more seriously if you would just stop directly and indirectly calling me calling me a racist. Why is it so hard for you (and others who think like you) to grasp this concept. You very well may have experienced racism, but not from me and not from this blog. I deplore racism of any kind whether it’s coming from David Duke or Rev. Jeremiah Wright or anywhere in between.
I started this blog in July so I would agree to a point that my blog is “one-eyed” (if you mean focused on a particular aspect of this election). The election is over and focus here will shift.
BTW, in the spirit of compromise, I removed the two comments of yours I edited. Steve, you are welcome here to have a discussion but you need to be respectful. That’s a two way street and I will afford you the same respect.
