Obama often says that McCain voted 90% of the time with Bush. What he doesn’t say is that Obama himself voted 88% of the time with Bush and even voted for the Cheney energy plan. Hillary didn’t and neither did McCain.

What they don’t tell you is that McCain voted 97% of the time with the Democrats and that he has the worst conservative voting record of any Republican. He voted liberal 20% of the time.

(A little tip when you hear Obama lying about McCain’s voting record: most votes in the Senate are unanimous consent.)

Did you know that some top Democrats are flocking to McCain? Yep, people who have been Democrats voting for only Democrats all their lives are switching to McCain. Hillary’s top fundraiser and member of the DNC platform committee, Lady Lynne de Rothschild, has endorsed McCain. Hillary’s Senior Political Advisor, Miguel Lausell, and Clinton Delegate-at-Large Luchy Secaira both endorsed McCain on Friday. Millions of Hillary’s most active supporters have endorsed McCain.

[Editor's Note: See posts on Lynn Forester de Rothschild and on Lausell and Secaira for more details on their endorsements of McCain.]

There’s a dramatic split in the Democratic party because of the way the DNC treated Hillary and because millions of Democrats know they can’t trust Obama.

Here’s Obama yelling at an elderly Democratic woman at one of his rallies:

I’m hearing that the McCain campaign may be about to launch attack ads against Obama that may include references to Rev. Wright. Here’s Obama praising his pastor:

Of course, the biggest problem we have right now is the financial crisis, the worst part being the problems with Fannie and Freddie who gave Obama $126,349 in 3 years. By contrast, they gave McCain $21,550 over the course of 19 years. Per year, Obama got over $42,100 vs. McCain’s $1134. Why did Obama get 37x more money per annum?

To break it down, Obama got $6,000 from the Fannie/Freddie PAC, McCain 0. Total from individuals:

Obama: $120,349 (over 3 years)

McCain: $21,550 (over 19 years)

One other item the media is neglecting is that Obama tried to negotiate with Iraq for them to keep US troops there until after the election so he can look better to the voters. Some consider this a violation of the Logan Act. Read more about it here: Obama 101 by Amir Taheri on National Review Online

You want to vote for Obama because he’s a Democrat and you always vote for Democrats, right? I’m a left liberal Democrat who has been voting for only Democrats for 40 years. Why, then, will I and millions of other Democrats be voting for John McCain and Sarah Palin? The answer is because Obama isn’t just any ordinary Democrat. Race has nothing to do with it. Obama is 50% white, 44% Arab, and 6% black. He isn’t biracial, he’s triracial but that’s irrelevant. No, the problem we have with Obama is who he is and the kind of change he’d bring to the country.

[Editor's Note: It's not the color of Obama's skin, but the content of his charter, his experience, his judgment, his trustworthiness, and his readiness to lead that are being called into question.]

Obama is a Marxist or neo-Marxist or neo-Communist, a Saul Alinsky Socialist, and a political opportunist with no executive experience of any kind. He is dangerously inexperienced in a very dangerous world. Alinsky’s book, Rules for Radicals, basically Obama’s bible, teaches that radicals should look like Republicans to get elected. Once in office, they can then implement their socialist agenda.

Savvy Hillary supporters know full well who and what Obama is and don’t want any part of him because he isn’t a normal progressive Democrat like Hillary. His ardent supporters aren’t anything like normal liberals or progressives, either. They were vicious to Hillary’s supporters, called us all sorts of names, and were very sexist and misogynistic. They’re pulling the same crap on Palin that they pulled on Hillary. Code Pink and Third Wave (h/t Dr. Violette Socks) NYC feminists are going insane over Palin.

There was an article in today’s (Sunday, 9/21) Washington Post that mentioned one of the people I’m in touch with online, Dr. Lynette Long. She spoke at the huge McCain-Palin rally in Fairfax the other day to a crowd of 23,000.

I’m learning an awful lot this year about the Democrats I once supported with time, effort and money. No longer. Not until they ditch their current leadership and come to their senses. The best and speediest way to make that happen is to vote for McCain so that the DNC will implode and the leadership can be sent packing. We cannot reward the way the Democrats treated women this election cycle or there will be no end to it.

One final point. Obama is trying to scare seniors about Social Security. He’s lying. Again.
