Clinton Campaign Announces T-shirt Design Winner
10Jul2008 Filed under: Democratic Party, Fund Raising, Hillary Clinton Author: grlpatriotHillary Clinton’s campaign sent an email to supporters yesterday, announcing the winner of the “Project T-Shirt” contest. The winning t-shirt design, submitted by Denitza of Weehawken, New Jersey, will be used to help retire the Senator’s campaign debts from the embattled Democratic Primary.
In her email, Clinton said:
I never imagined we would have such an outpouring of support and great designs. We received almost five thousand amazing entries, and more than 125,000 of you voted for your favorite design. While the primary race may be over, I think the winning t-shirt — and it won by a landslide — still makes a wonderful statement about everything you and I accomplished in this historic race and our determination to keep fighting for what we believe in.
The new, limited edition “This One Is For You” T-shirts are $50 with proceeds going to help retire Clinton’s campaign debt. You can buy the T-shirt from Clinton’s website.

I’m glad this T-shirt won, even though I voted for a different one.
I agree, it is very fitting (pardon the pun) considering where we are right now.

I actually forgot about the contest until I received the email. I didn’t vote for this tee either, but I’m glad it won. You’re right, Lunabelle, it is “fitting” for where we are now.

Cynthia, you cannot order them online anymore. The message on the web page says: “The time to order the limited edition t-shirt has passed. Go to http://www.hillarygear.com for more Hillary Gear!” There are other t-shirts available there. You can also try to call the campaign (703.469.2008) and ask them if they have any left for purchase. Hope that helps.
